We are fortunate indeed to live in such a beautiful part of the country, and the following pages have been created to document local nature and wildlife, both by means of the written word and in pictures for the benefit of residents and visitors alike. It is hoped to update the site with new material on a regular basis, and contributions from local residents are welcome and will be reproduced with full credit to the author on the page in question. It is also intended to provide a suitable location to display assorted photographs of both wildlife and plant life which typify the great wealth and diversity of the English Countryside. For those who frequent our rural areas, nature watching brings nothing but joy, and it is hoped that by sharing these selected images, some of this joy can be shared with our viewers.
