Situated on a ridge one mile West of the Hamlet of Nomansland, West Middlewick Farm is a family run dairy farm offering panoramic views over Exmoor and Dartmoor to the South. Our location is ideal for exploring the many attractions that Devon has to offer. Locally these include walking, horse riding, fishing and National Trust properties, together with easy access to the North and South coasts and moors.

Guests have their own access through the garden into the sunroom where they can relax at their leisure. Here also, guests will enjoy a traditional home cooked full English breakfast of local produce whilst looking out on our garden including a patio area and water feature. Dartmoor can also be seen from this sunny location.

A wooden staircase leads from the sunroom to a relaxing double bedroom with en-suite facilities and beautiful views of Exmoor. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided along with a colour TV to make your stay with us even more relaxing.

As well as Self Catering accommodation, South Coombe Farm also offers within the farmhouse self contained Bed and Breakfast accommodation for up to three guests with discounts for two nights or more and weekly rates. All accommodation has been inspected by the English Tourism Council and constantly receives the 4 Star grading as befits buildings of such age and stature.

Andy and Barbara would like to Welcome you to The Mitre Inn. Situated on the Two Moors Way in the lovely village of Witheridge, the Mitre Inn is midway between Dartmoor to the South, and Exmoor to the North.

The Mitre Inn has four letting bedrooms, two double bedrooms, a further double bedroom with en-suite facilities, but with a shower only, and also one family bedroom with a double bed and two singles, and which is fully en-suite with a bath and a toilet. All of the rooms are clean and comfortable, and have recently been redecorated and equipped with modern furnishings. Guests will find excellent facilities including colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, and full central heating.

There is a surcharge of £5.00 for single occupancy.

Edgelake Cottage

English Country hospitality at its most relaxed can be found in this 17C thatched cottage right by the Little Dart river. After a good night in comfy beds, come down the ancient spiral staircase and find a hearty breakfast of locally sourced produce awaiting you. Fortified by that, Edgelake is a good starting point for walks, for visiting some of the wonderful gardens and NT properties in Devon or for just relaxing over a drink and a good meal in one of our excellent local hostelries.

Walkers on the Two Moors Way can be collected from the Square in Witheridge by arrangement as the cottage is around 1.5 miles off the route of the Two Moors Way.

East Worlington, Devon, is a hamlet some three miles from Witheridge, and within an agricultural area. It has a church, a primary school and a parish hall for its 241 inhabitants. It was formed in the mid-12th century alongside its sister parish of West Worlington. The hamlet has some old buildings including the Rectory and the Church House.
